Oes Tsetnoc Support For Bleuken

It's time to call it quits. My oes tsetnoc entry has been neglected by me in terms of building links as new projects came and I had no time to work for it anymore. I decided to throw my support to my compatriot Mr. Felixberto Baguyo Jr. as he is the leading Filipino participant as of this writing.

I am going to transfer the links of the blog posts I made for my entries and point it to his entry. In that way, I can help in his entry's link popularity and push him up the ladder and hopefully, who knows, he can take the number 1 spot.

It's not only me who expressed support for Bleuken. There are also a lot from the SEO Philippines forum who wanted to help. Through this Bayanihan system, hopefully a Pinoy can win this contest.

Ara Mina For Councilor of Quezon City

Ara Mina filed her certificate of candidacy for a seat in the council of Quezon City's second district. Ara joins the flock of showbiz personalities joining the politics in the 2010 elections.

It is an open book that Ara Mina belongs to a political clan in Quezon City and her action today is just to show that politics also runs in her blood. Ara is running as independent candidate although she revealed that there are political parties that invited her to join their parties.

Ara is currently a talent of GMA-7 and is know for her sexy movies. I hope there will be sezy and beautiful candidates also for Cagayan de Oro so that it will be nice to watch their deliberations in the council, not those boring faces that we can see for many years now.

What are these companies do, if you are not familiar with them. They clean ovens, that's all. There are a lot of couples who are going to work together, They just don't have the time for some household chores and the more no time in cleaning their ovens.

That's where these oven cleaning companies come in. They do the dirty job of cleaning your oven for a pay of course. But there are scam companies that are proliferating in different areas. So to be sure you are not calling the services of scam companies, which some turn to be burglars, refer to the list in this site: List of Certified Oven Cleaning Companies

Oes Tsetnoc: One Month To Go

One month to go and oes tsetnoc is done. For those who do not know what oes tsetnoc is, it is the key phrase for the International SEO Contest sponsored by Promo Junkie Webmasters Forum. It is participated by SEO experts and newbies all over the world.

As of this writing, my entry is currently in the seventh place and hopefully it is going to go higher in the coming days. But the competition is very tough that many experts have joined and newbies like us find it very hard to step up the SERPs. But at least, my entry has climbed to the top ten ranking due to my SEO strategies that are really working.

As of today, many competitors have already amassed thousands of links which I think as a result of some team efforts or paid links or some black hat SEO strategies. I am wondering why Google has not given them penalty for such. I have some sites before that after generating hundreds of links in two months, all of a sudden, Google has de-indexed my sites.

But no matter what, I am very happy with my performance. All I had in mind when I joined the contest was to test my strategies against the best of the world. And with the current results, I a very satisfied to be in the top ten, number seven to be exact.

Sitar & Spice

RAJ, the first modern Indian restaurant in Malate, Philippines, caters to the senses. This is what owner DJ Montano likes his first restaurant to be. DJ used to work as the operations manager for Colin McKay (owner of People's Palace) so it's not surprising that he too, got the services of architedt John Tan to do the layouts.

The trademarks are all there; clean lines, padded walls, big ornamental plants plus some charming details like studded pillows, plastic flowers, silver leaves, velvet stools, lavender curtains, sitar music and an incense scent all over.

DJ studied in Les Roches in Switzerland and later went to London to do further research on Indian Food. Raj's menu, a cross section of India's multi-regional cuisine was the fruit of his labor.

Now with our favorites: start with Mulligatawny, a tomato and lamb based soup that's great with an unleavened bread chapati. For the main dish, it's a toss between Meen Molee, a grouper fillet simmered in spiced coconut milk and banana leaf or Chicken Tandoori, chicken barbecue served with tomato, onion rings and lemon.

As a side dish, you can order any of the chatinis of fresh Indian pastes made of herbs, oil and spices or try the four samplers . For the dessert, we like the soft Indian carrot cake Gaijar Halwah.

Overall, we like Raj though we find the food a little bit pricey. Take note also that there's one table in the second floor that's too low, we have to eat with our hips pressed to one side.

Oes Tsetnoc Fan Site

This post is for my friend who is currently joining a contest in seo (although he claim he is already late but requested me to make a blog post for it). Here is his blog entry Oes Tsetnoc Fan Site and he is trying to make that keyword (oes tsetnoc) as if it is a celebrity because his posts in the blog are related to entertainment niche.

I am helping him since he has helped me with some of my sites to rank in Google. So, I'll post something below that is entertainment related to boost his entry.

With its campy yet witty portrayal of suburban housewives, Desperate Housewives has struck a raw nerve among millions of viewers worldwide. Moms who watched the four protagonists can't help but think "hey, that's me!".

Yes, any one of us could be single mom Susan (Oes Tsetnoc), trophy wife Gabrielle (Eva Longoria), Martha Stewart clone Bree (Marcia Cross) or corporate warrior turned homemaker Lynette (Felicity huffman).

Desperate Housewives also goes into murder-mystery territory. Narrated by a neighbor who committed suicide, there's an eerie suspense element that makes sunny Wisteria Lane intriguing.

Maricar Reyes Is Coming To Cagayan de Oro City

Maricar Reyes is coming to Cagayan de Oro City. She is coming with John Lloyd Cruz and other Kapamilya stars for the city's fiesta celebration.

So what's the big deal why am I blogging this event for her? There's no big deal really, it is just that she was involved in a sex video scandal with Dr. Hayden Kho and she became an instant celebrity then. But in fairness to her, she's a great actress too. ABS-CBN would not gamble to give her projects if she's not indeed a good actress.

Her silence in the sex video scandal issue catapulted Maricar Reyes to where she is now. She got more projects and her popularity even soared hiegher.

The question now is, will the Kagay-anons excited for her coming? Will they go there and watch Maricar Reyes? My answer is a big YES. Kagay-anons want to see in person the woman they've searched in the internet which makes Misamis Oriental the no.1 region inthe Philippines searching for "Maricar Reyes" and Cagayan de Oro City the no.2 City searching for the same term.

Furthermore, we are no.1 in "Katrina Halili" keyword, both Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City hold the no.1 spots!

Lastly, Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City are again on top with the "sex scandal" keyword!

That's how Kagay-anons love "sex scandals" and I'm sure many will flock to SM when Maricar and company comes to town. See you there!

Remembering the CDO Flood

The rain is pouring heavily again while I am working here at home near our window. I can't help but to move a little bit farther from the window since the rain is trying to find its way inside.

The rain was this heavy when the first and the worst flood happened here in Cagayan de Oro City. As I look outside, the water level is starting to go up and if this rain will not stop any minute soon, God forbids, the worst may happen again.

But what happened was not only natural calamity that there's nothing we can do like others said. We are all responsible for the cause of the calamity. Aside from the illegal and legal loggers who denuded our forests, look at our drainage.

All drainage in CDO are almost full of our trash. And who are responsible for those garbages in our canals/drainage? You and me! Let's do our little part to maintain proper sanitation in our surroundings and these calamities can be avoided.

Here in our place, the canals are full of trash again that's why the water level in our streets are going up again.

Let's discipline ourselves and try to become a responsible citizen.

Katrina Halili Now Sues Belo Medical Group

I just heard from the news today that Katrina Halili is filing a lawsuit against the Belo Medical Group at the Department of Health. Her purpose for filing the complaint is to ask the DOH to stop the BMG in its medical practice.

Katrina cited the case of Dr. Hayden Kho who performed liposuction to her and claim that Kho is not licensed to perform such operation. And because of that liposuction done to her by Dr. Kho, who became her lover, she now wants the whole clinic to stop its operation.

Is it fair to Belo Medical Group people? A lot of physicians and health care personnel are employed in the clinic. Would it be fair to them that the personal quarrel of Vicki, Hayden and Katrina will make them lose their jobs if ever DOH orders such closure?

I think Katrina is over-acting. She should also think of those who are not involved in her video sex scandal that will be the next victim if her complaint against the BMG prevails. Katrina should spare those employees.

Whatever "unprofessional" done by the BMG maybe is letting Katrina's lover to perform such operation. If ever Katrina is really serious in her complaint, why shouldn't she filed the complaint right after the operation has been done.

If she is taking these steps just for revenge, oh boy, people would withdraw their sympathy with her. I myself, is withdrawing my sympathy for her if she will not withdraw her complaint against Belo Medical Group.

In this case, I don't sympathize with BMG, my sympathy is with the ordinary employees.

Lucrative Data Entry Jobs From Home

There are all kinds of data entry jobs from home. There are those that are legitimate and those that are scams, those that are simple and those that are complex and even those that can build you a gold mine and those that might make you feel that you are wasting your time.

If the regular kind of data entry jobs from home like typing in addresses and names don't interest you, there are plenty of other options that you could consider. Besides being slightly off the beat and a little more complex, these jobs can make you quite a pile of money. Here are a few lucrative ideas that you can explore.

The variety

All data entry jobs basically involve the entry and management of information. If you are an experienced and skilled person in the field of data entry, then the more complex data entry jobs from home should be a cakewalk for you to handle. An example of some of the more demanding jobs is the drawing up of reports, correspondence, records and even spread sheets. With the complexity of these kinds of data entry jobs also comes the tediousness. However if you are a relatively experienced typist with a good rate of accuracy, you should not find them too challenging.

Providing transcription services

Another very interesting option for high end data entry jobs from home is transcription, both legal and medical. Transcription required a more specific skill set. Besides typing, you would also need to be able to comprehend audio files and accents and transcribe with accuracy what you hear. Most people who provide transcription services are trained professionally to do so. The training would involve all kinds of aspects of the job including understanding accents. Transcription work also requires certain equipment that you must have as a pre requisite. This would include foot pedals that are used to control the speed of the speech on the audio file and of course a pair of headphone to hear the audio file.

Medical coding

Medical coding is another interesting option for data entry jobs from home. However it should not be confused with medical transcription as they are both distinctly different. Medical coding is all about making sure that highly important medical data is entered and managed properly. This again would involve training before you can actually start taking on jobs of this nature. Training is available through various correspondence courses.

Litigation coding

Another kind of data entry job from home that involves coding is in the legal industry. If you have an aptitude and a like for the legal industry, then this might just work for you. Like medical coding, litigation coding also involves the conversion of documents such as scanned ones into data that can be stored and easily accessed when required. This job is general comes in the terrain of assisting legal professional.

Even though the above options are more lucrative than most other data entry jobs, you must keep in mind that the money you make might not always be steady. The amount you earn per week depends solely on you and the kind and amount of work you can take on. You might find it a bit slow in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, you will find that you are able to take on more and more work, thus increasing your capacity to earn.

Carla Abellana - The Pinay Rosalinda

I stumbled upon this news saying that Rosalinda, the famous Mexican Telenovela, is to have it's local version here topbilled by the beautiful newcomer Carla Abellana.

There were a lot of contenders for the said show and one of the rumored contender for the coveted role was Marian Rivera who has been successful with her previous shows, namely "Marimar" and "Dyesebel".

So far, only Marian is dominating the primetime for the Kapuso Network GMA-7. Marian is everywhere. She's in the news, in a lot of commercials and in GMA-7's primetime shows for a long time.

But many observe the drop of viewers in Marian's latest telenovela "Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang". Although there's a lot of factors they are looking as to what is the cause of the drop in the show's ratings, it cannot be denied that people will someday lose interest to Marian Rivera and look for someone new.

People needs a new face. The Filipino audience can't afford to see only one face every time they open their televisions.

GMA-7 bigwigs also noticed this and made the wise move. They dropped Marian Rivera and selected a new talent in the person of Carla Abellana. She's a commercial model and has the lineage of artists in her family. Her father, Rey "PJ" Abellana, was a matinee idol in the 80's and her grandmother, Delia Razon, was a famous actress in the 50's.

She's got the "mestiza" beauty and the face of an angel. She also got the brains, as she graduated Cum Laude in De La Salle University, one, if not the most prestigious university in the Philippines. She has already done some TV commercials, most noticeable were the shampoo and the Jolibee commercials.

With a lot of commercials, GMA-7 put their money to a newcomer and hopes to make big in the show business. As some say, for GMA-7, "After Marian Rivera, the next big thing is Carla Abellana".

Motorcycle Menace

Motorcycles nowadays are everywhere in the roads of Cagayan de Oro City. With the advent of high fuel prices, Filipinos find their way to fuel-efficient vehicles and the no.1 hit are the motorcycles, be it branded or the China brands.

Anybody can have one, if you have the bills. Anybody can drive a motorcycle and you can see just anybody driving one in our roads, some even have no driver's license.

But what I have observed is the requirement what most riders don't follow - the wearing of helmets. Most riders think that wearing of helmets is just a policy. They use helmet just to avoid being apprehended by the law enforcers.

With this on mind, they wear just anything. Have you seen someone driving a motorcycle wearing a helmet for bicycles? Many are doing that. Some are also wearing helmets that are not DOT certified. But those wrongdoings are just tolerated by the law enforcers maybe because they themselves doesn't know the rule. They think any helmet will do.

The real purpose of wearing helmets is safety, not just to avoid being apprehended by the law enforcers. It protects our head, which is susceptible to fatal injuries, in case of an accident. Many deaths have been recorded, not just in CDO but worldwide, in motorcycle accidents due to the use of substandard or non-wearing of helmet at all. This menace continues to claim its victims due to some ignorant or hard headed riders.

Many are aware of this but just find ways to deviate. Some says they're ashamed because their friends call them "X-Men". Some says helmets can 'deform' their hairdo an some even believe the myth that wearing of helmets can cause baldness. Some have their own reasons and some are just funny and dumb.

What's funnier is the way some riders are doing. They have their helmets but they don't wear them. Many put their helmets in their elbow which make some wonder if their brain, which is supposed to be protected by the helmet, is in their elbow. It's maybe a joke but it could be a serious call for the ignorant riders to heed before it's too late.

Julie's Bakeshop Around Cagayan de Oro City

Almost every 3 o'clock PM I hear this sound, this new hit sound in the road. And every time I hear this song, my stomach seems to crave for something to digest.

Oh, it's the Julies Bakeshop on wheels! Since I'm "tambay" doing some home-based jobs (lampaso, panglaba, panilhig, ug uban pa), I always hear that song and immediately buy those delicious breads and other delicacies of Julie's Bakeshop.

It's good they got this idea and its really a hit. Delivering their goods to your house is somewhat bringing convenience to your customers. Just wait for their jingle to ring in your ears then there you go, Julie's delicacies.

I'm not not advertising Julie's here, they won't pay me and they won't care anyway. I'm thinking of those small-time panaderias here in Cagayan de Oro who originally have this system. You could hear children shouting (instead of a jingle) "PAN INIIITTT!!" during my 3 o'clock habit (snack time).

Those panaderias are really small compared to Julie's. Small, yet they can directly help children earn some money for their everyday living. Some sell bread in the afternoon/pandesal in the morning just to have something to spend at school, just like my "suki" here.

But with the advent of Julie's on Wheels, who are directly competing against small time bakeshops, what will happen to these kids? Sooner or later, there's no pandesal nor pan -init to sell anymore since their panaderia has closed due to stiff competition with Julies.

I remember Jerry's Shopper's World in Valencia, Bukidnon. They were the largest store in Valencia in their time. but when Gaisano entered the scene, Jerry's and other small groceries didn't withstand the competition and they closed shops.

I am seeing the same scenario here. Soon, I won't be hearing the "PAN INIT" anymore and it will be all the Julie's jingle. I hope not.

Just Another Camera Angle Commentary

Ok, same topic here with my previous post (Reporter's Notebook)but in different situation. This time, in TV news program in all TV stations.

This usually happens when a reporter "scoops" an incident where someone is dead and family members are around and crying. The more during burial where almost all relatives are present.

It really disgusts me when a family member is crying, the cameraman takes a focus on the person's face. All of the fluids flowing to the person's face is so clear that, again, makes my viewing experience UGLY.

The more it becomes disgusting when the camera is focused on the person's face and the reporter stops talking and all you can hear are the screams of the crying person.

I usually transfer the channel every time there's a news especially burials.

Reporter's Notebook of GMA-7

I salute the people behind this TV program. They talk things of great importance to our society. They also have an equally qualified personnel that brings credibility to the show.

In fact, they receive citations and awards not only int he Philippines but also from international award-giving bodies as well.

I watched last night and again I witnessed another interesting story. It's about the nationwide random drug testing for high school students and the implementation of sanitary landfills in the country.

But anyway, I'm not going to talk on those topics. They're really competent in detailing those issues.

What I have observed are the angles of their camera as they interview their resource persons. They're focusing too much on the faces of every resource person they interview. The face is so close that the face alone fills the whole TV screen. Every granule of the face is so clear and you can see everything, the pimples, the laughlines, and everything.

To make the story short, it's not good to view their faces in the full screen of the TV. It's ugly. It's so disgusting that the director is trying to put some artistry into his shoot, but instead makes a mockery of the person being interviewed. They don't even put make-up; to make it realistic? Oh I hate to see it.

If it's Marian Rivera, Roxanne Guinoo, Angel Locsin, Luningning Ara Mina or KC Concepcion , then it would be fine to put those faces in our TV's full screen.

I hope they will try another angle when they interview resource persons. Not the entire face on the full screen, its UGLY.
